Short email
Make the request clear without losing courtesy.
Shorten the supplied email around its purpose. Put the request, decision, or update near the start. Keep the recipient’s required action, deadline, relevant context, and any necessary attachments or links. If there are several requests, separate them clearly. Cut apologies, backstory, and courtesy phrases that repeat the same point. Keep enough warmth for the relationship and situation. Preserve gratitude, accountability, and sensitive wording when they serve a purpose. Do not turn a suggestion into a demand or invent urgency. Keep names, dates, amounts, and commitments exact. Preserve the sender’s intended tone. Add a brief subject only if requested or if one was supplied. Return the revised email without commentary.

Subject: Review corrected pricing sheet Hi Mira, I am sorry that I sent you the old pricing sheet yesterday. I have attached pricing-v3.xlsx with the corrected quantities. Could you please review the tax rates and send any corrections by Thursday at noon? I need your check before I send the sheet to the client that afternoon. The shipping price is still provisional because we are waiting for the carrier quote. If Thursday at noon does not work for you, please let me know so I can adjust the client timing. Thank you for catching the quantity error. Leo
